| - | Manage our operations and activities to comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations, licences and other commitments to which the company subscribes. |
| - | Minimise water wastage by renewing towels on demand only. |
| - | Use suppliers from within 50 miles of each hotel, where quality allows. |
| - | Use low energy light bulbs and install movement sensors to minimise lighting in corridors wherever practicable. |
| - | Recycle as much of our glass (brown, green and clear), paper, organic and non organic waste as is practicably possible. |
| - | Grow our own vegetables (and rear our own pigs!) at those of our hotels where this is viable. |
| - | Compost green waste from our kitchens wherever possible. |
| - | Recycle our cooking oil into bio fuel. |
| - | Dispose of all our IT equipment responsibly via local recycling schemes. |
| - | Reduce the consumption of fuel, energy and water and use renewable and/or recyclable resources wherever practicable. |
| - | Provide information, instruction and training for employees on relevant environmental issues. |
