What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in is from 3pm and check out is by 11am.

Do you offer early check in or late check out?

Yes, subject to availability and additional charges. We can offer an early check-in from 12.30pm for £25 or a late check out until 1pm for £25.

Do you have a lift?

Unfortunately, none of our properties have a lift.

Do you have parking?

Yes, all our sites have complimentary parking.

The Bull & Swan – parking is located at the William Cecil, just 200m up the road.

The William Cecil – please ensure you enter your registration number into the tablet at the door on arrival to ensure you aren’t charged. Please speak to a member of the team on arrival if you need more information.

Do you offer charging for electric vehicles?

We have two electric car charging points for residents to use. Please note there is a cost associated, and do speak to any of our team if you need more information.

Do your rooms have air conditioning?

Only the bedrooms in the main house at Spot in the Woods have air conditioning. We do, however, provide fans for all our other properties.

Do you have function space?

We have space at all properties for functions, however this does vary. Check out our ‘Meet and Celebrate’ page for more information.

Are you licensed for wedding ceremonies?

At William Cecil, and Master Builder’s House, we do have licences for wedding ceremonies. Unfortunately, we do not have licences or offer weddings at the Bull & Swan.

I have a room reserved with you; do I need to reserve a table in the restaurant?

Yes, we recommend reserving a table in advance as we can get booked up.

Are you pet friendly?

We accept dogs at an additional fee of £25 in some of our bedrooms. Please speak to the team to ensure you are allocated a dog-friendly bedroom. Unfortunately, we do not accept any other animals.

Dogs are welcome in the restaurant at the Bull and Swan and Spot in the Woods. At Master Builder’s House, they are welcome in the Garden View Restaurant and for the William Cecil, they are welcome in the Conservatory and Bar. They are also welcome on the terrace at all properties.

Do you accept children?

Some of our bedrooms can accommodate children up to the age of 14, for an additional £25 fee (per child, per night). Please speak to the team to check availability for these rooms.

We also have a Children’s menu for all our restaurants, except for the William Cecil.

Do you have storage for bikes?

Yes, all our properties have somewhere to store bikes. Please note, these are left at the owners’ risk.

Do you have twin rooms?

All our properties have some bedrooms which can be converted to twins. Please email the team to check availability.

What is your cancellation period?

We require 48 hours’ notice prior to arrival for a cancellation for there to be no charge. Any bookings cancelled within the 48-hour period, or a no-show, will incur a charge of the full amount for the stay.

Packages that require a deposit or pre-payment (such as our Advanced Purchase rate and special packages) are non-refundable.
